Job Title: Site Supervisor
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Education/Development, Early Childhood Education/Development, or related area of study.
Experience Requirement: None.
Special Requirement: Bi-lingual in Korean and English.
Job Type: Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Set educational standards and goals and help establish policies, procedures, and programs to carry them out;
- Plan, implement and oversee day to day activities encouraging each child’s emotional, intellectual, social and physical growth;
- Develop plans for effective communication, monitoring, and follow-up of children in inclusive classroom settings;
- Prepare and review Korean language curriculum, programs, and activities for Korean-learning children;
- Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips;
- Confer with Korean-speaking parents and staff to discuss educational activities and policies and students’ behavioral or learning problems;
- Monitor students’ progress and provide students and teachers with assistance in resolving any problems;
- Issue newsletters and lesson plans for Korean-speaking parents in Korean and have a meeting individually with each Korean-learning child in Korean;
- Ensure children’s safety within the inside and outside environments at all times.
